1、干燥防腐

木腐菌生存对湿度的要求,因菌种不同而有差异,只有当木材含水率高于20%时,木材内部才具备了多数木腐生存所需的环境湿度.木材含水率在20%以下时,木腐菌不再生长繁殖,最终自然死亡,木材则免遭危害.干燥木材使木材含水率降到20%以下,是防止木材腐朽的有效措施之一.

2、保湿存放

3、浸水存放

长期贮存于水中木材的含水率高可达200%以上,湿材含有大量的水分,因而内部缺乏氧气,不具备木腐菌的生存条件,致使木腐菌不能寄生于木材中.我们把木材贮存于水中可以达到防腐的目的.木材水存时应完全被浸没于水中,不可漂浮在水面上,否则就为木腐菌创 造了生存条件,水面上暴露在空气中的部分木材极易被木腐菌腐朽.

4、防腐袖涂刷

常用方法是将沥青油涂刷于木材表面使木材与外面的空气隔绝,并能阻止外界水份侵入木材.这也是建筑木构件常用的防腐方法,其毒性低,污染较少.

5、改变木材酸碱度 (pH值)

研究认为,木腐菌生长繁殖所需要的低酸碱度 (pH 值)为 4.5-5.5..木材在贮存过程中其含酸量会逐渐增加,所以绝大多数术材的 pH 值是在 4.0-6.5 之间,而当其 pH 值达到中性点即7 时,木材中的术腐菌就不能生长.所以,用碱性溶液处理木材,使木材 PH 值变成中性或弱碱性,可以破坏木腐菌的生存条件则可达到防腐之目的.
